Wire trees
Here are the Wire Trees.
Recently, I've starting playing around with wire trees. I have been running some rock tumblers out in the garage for years, and I just keep accumulating piles of polished rocks. I also like to twist paper clips together. So, I decided to combine these talents by making little wire trees, and then mounting them on polished rocks. I think they are kind of interesting. I learned how to make the trees by reading Sal Villano's book on wire trees.
This was the first one I made. It is 16 gauge copper wire.
This one is 20 gauge copper wire.
This is 26 gauge copper wire. This is 26 gauge gold colored wire. OK. This isn't a tree. This one is made from black wire. 26 gauge nickel wire. This grouping is made from 20 and 26 gauge nickel wire. They are mounted on polished chalcedony. Here it is with the light on.
